My friend recently asked me if Walmart sells dildos and I was a bit perplexed. To answer his question, it seems that Walmart does not officially sell dildos, but they do sell vibrators and other sex toys. So this has led me to ask the question: why not dildos?
First and foremost let us start by defining what a dildo is. A dildo is an insertable sex toy that is usually made of either silicone, glass, plastic, rubber, or metal. It is meant for providing sexual pleasure and stimulation. Dildo’s come in various sizes and shapes, some are smooth and others have ridges.
It may come as a surprise to some people, but dildos have a long history. In fact, artifacts resembling dildos date back to around 28,000 B.C. They have been found in several cultures throughout the world, including Ancient Greece and Rome.
My guess as to why Walmart does not carry dildos is because they are considered too risqué for them, Penis Rings and they want to maintain a more modest image. Walmart is well known for their conservative values and ideals and this may also affect their decision to not carry dildos.
Furthermore, dildos could be seen as promoting promiscuity and sexual liberation which Walmart may not want to be associated with. Walmart is a large multinational corporation, and they have to carefully balance their customer base and public image.
This doesn’t mean, however, that Walmart will never stock dildos. There may come a time when society becomes more open-minded towards sex toys, and when that happens, I’m sure Walmart will be waiting to hop on the bandwagon.
Moving on from Walmart, let us talk about other retailers who sell dildos. One of the most popular stores is Lovehoney, an online sex toy store. They have a wide selection of dildos in various sizes, colors, and materials.
Amazon is another store that sells dildos. Although you can’t purchase them directly from Amazon, you can find them on various third-party websites. You will need to research each website to make sure that the product you are buying is safe and from a reputable vendor.
The last major retailer we will talk about is Adam & Eve, another online sex toy store. Adam & Eve stocks a wide variety of dildos in various shapes and sizes. They also have a “Sex Toy Finder” section, which helps customers locate the perfect toy for them.
Looking at the various retailers who carry dildos, it is clear that there is no shortage of places to purchase these products. Thanks to the internet, consumers now have access to a wide array of dildos from different companies around the world.
Obviously Walmart does not yet sell dildos, but that could change in the future. Who knows what the future holds for Walmart and sex toys? We may see dildos on Walmart’s shelves one day very soon. All we can do is wait and see!
